Candidates' Forum Questions

Dear Hollywood Voter:

Thank you for participating in the Committee of 100 of Hollywood’s Candidates’ Forum.  The purpose of this forum is to familiarize you and other Hollywood voters with the candidates for Hollywood City Commission, who we will vote for in the 2024 General Election, and their vision for Hollywood.  Three city commission seats are up for election: Mayor, District #2 Commissioner, and District #6 Commissioner.

The community is invited to submit questions in advance of the forum.  A question should be open-ended, to elicit a brief thoughtful response from each candidate, not a simple “Yes” or “No” response.

A question to be asked the candidates should pertain to one of the City of Hollywood’s strategic focus areas, found in the annual budget document.  Other types of questions will be considered by the review board.

Please submit your question by email to Questions@comm100hlwd.org. Similar questions may be combined into one question.  Questions directed to one candidate will be discarded.  Due to time constraints, not all questions submitted by the public may be asked.  It is the Committee of 100 of Hollywood review board’s sole and final decision whether or not to bring forth a question to the Candidates’ Forum.  The deadline for questions is Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
