Leadership Hollywood Scholarship
The Committee of 100 provides one scholarship annually for the Leadership Hollywood class. The Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce hosts a 9-month program entitled "Leadership Hollywood" that runs from October to June. The program generally meets one week-day per month from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. There is also a service project component and social events associated with the program.
Preference for the Committee of 100 scholarship is given to current members of the Committee of 100, those actively working on becoming a member of Committee of 100, those intending to become a member of Committee of 100, and then family members of Committee of 100 members and/or employees of businesses owned or run by Committee of 100 members.
Leadership Hollywood provides an interactive program where participants get to view our community up close and achieve a unique knowledge of issues existing in and resources and services available in Hollywood, Broward County, and the State of Florida via "behind-the-scenes" tours and meetings. Each scheduled day provides an interactive forum through interface, hands-on experience, role playing, and communication with current leaders in our community.
Class members will learn of challenges facing our community and resources in the community - including both government and private resources.
Leadership Hollywood has existed for over forty years and there are over 1,000 alumni of the course. Joining Leadership Hollywood allows one to meet government and community leaders, build professional and social networks, and is also a great way to get intimately connected to a smaller group within the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

Helping individuals to partake in the Leadership Hollywood course helps members of the Committee of 100 of Hollywood in fulfilling this group's objective to
[A]dvance the educational, civic, social, moral and economic interests of the City of Hollywood, and to advise, give counsel and propose measures for the improvement thereof.
